Bahrain Bayan School’s Executive Chairperson briefed about Bahrainouna initiatives

The Executive Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Bayan School, Dr May bint Sulaiman Al Otaibi received the General Supervisor of the Executive Office of the National Plan to Promote the Spirit of Belonging to the Nation and Reinforce the Values of Nationalism (Bahrainouna), Brigadier Mohammed Bin Daina.

Some of the school’s administration and faculty members and Interior Ministry officers also attended.

The meeting was part of the Interior Ministry’s dedication to promoting community partnership and national and loyalty values. It reviewed the fundamental principles and qualitative initiatives of the Bahrainouna plan, as per the directives of Interior Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Follow-Up Committee.

The meeting highlighted that the plan entered during this year a new digital transformation era. It also focused on initiatives by the Education Ministry, including curricula development and the Citizenship and Human Rights Enhancing Schools project.

The Executive Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Bayan School and the accompanied delegation were briefed on the goals and curricula of the Maan (together) programme and its implementation mechanisms by the community police at all Bahrain’s schools. As a result, the programme succeeded within a few years in limiting harmful practices and behaviours by enhancing school students’ awareness.

During the meeting, both sides agreed to reinforce cooperation and coordination and hold awareness lectures for students of different age groups to promote awareness and develop the education environment.
