HM King Mohammed VI Expresses Sympathy Over Passing of Former Ambassador and Soccer Player.


Rabat: His Majesty King Mohammed VI sent a message of condolences and compassion to the members of the family of late Abdelkader Lachheb, a former ambassador and player of the Moroccan national soccer team. In this message, His Majesty the King states that he has learned with great emotion the news of the late Abdelkader Lachheb’s death, may God preserve him in His holy mercy.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, in this painful ordeal, the Sovereign expresses to members of the family of the deceased and, through them, to his relatives, friends and fans, as well as to his great national sporting and diplomatic families, His deep condolences and His feelings of compassion following the painful loss, Imploring the Most High to grant patience and comfort to the family members of the deceased.

HM the King recollected the virtues of the deceased, known for his high morals and his unwavering commitment to the values of sincere patriotism, which he demonstrated with dedication and self-sacrifice, both in his d
iplomatic responsibilities and as a talented player who left his mark on the brilliant era of Moroccan soccer during the 70s and 80s of the last century, recalling that the late distinguished himself by brilliantly combining his passion for sport with his university studies.

The Sovereign implores the Almighty to reward the deceased for the praiseworthy services rendered to his Homeland and welcome him into His vast Paradise among the virtuous. ‘Surely to Allah we belong and to Him we will all return”, true is the Word of God.
