His Majesty King Mohammed VI sent a message of condolences and compassion to the family of the late Khalil Hachimi Idrissi.
In this message, HM the King said he “learned, with deep emotion, the news of the death of the illustrious writer and journalist late Khalil Hachimi Idrissi, who responded to the call of His Lord in these blessed days of the holy month of Ramadan, surrounded by the divine mercy and blessing.”
In this painful circumstance, the Sovereign expresses to the family members of the deceased, and through them, to his great media and cultural family, his friends and admirers, His warm condolences and His sincere feelings of compassion in the face of this heavy loss, the divine will being unstoppable, imploring the Most High to grant them patience and comfort.
“We remember, with great esteem, the great human qualities of the deceased, his proven professional competence, his integrity, his commitment and self-sacrifice in the performance of his duties as a writer, media manager and director general of the Maghreb Arab Press Agency, in addition to his dedication and sincerity in defending the constants and sacred values of the Nation and his firm attachment to the glorious Alawid Throne,” HM the King stressed.
The Sovereign prays to the Most High to shower “your dear deceased with His immense mercy, to reward him amply for the valuable services he rendered to his homeland and his society and to accept him among his virtuous followers.”
“Give good news to those who patiently endure, who, when faced with a disaster, say, “Surely to Allah we belong and to Him we will ?all? return.” True is the word of God.
