NABLUS: Israeli occupation forces halted roadwork today in the village of Asira al-Qibliya, located south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank, according to local sources.
Hafez Saleh, the head of the Asira al-Qibliya Village Council, reported that Israeli forces held up several workers and three trucks for hours while they were involved in paving a road connecting Asira al-Qibliya with the nearby village of Immatin.
Saleh noted that the Israeli forces prohibited the continuation of the roadwork, effectively suspending the construction efforts.
