Rabat – Morocco and France are advancing together on partnerships for the future, said on Monday in Rabat, French Minister of Economy, Finance and Industry, Antoine Armand.

‘I am very proud to see the work of ALSTOM, EGIS and VOSSLOH with Moroccan companies, which showcases that we are advancing together on future technology partnerships ,’ the French Minister told MAP following the signing ceremony of several bilateral agreements, chaired by HM King Mohammed VI and French President, Emmanuel Macron.

Railways are one of the areas in which Morocco and France share ‘a long history and partnership,’ he added, welcoming the ‘excellent cooperation’ between the two countries in economy, industry and energy.

Armand also expressed his delight at the ‘very warm welcome’ extended by HM the King to the French President, hailing the signing of several agreements between the two countries in various sectors during the visit.
