RAMALLAH: The Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Mohammad Mustafa met with the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Palestine, Ihab Suleiman, in Ramallah, where they discussed the latest developments in the occupied Palestinian territory in light of the ongoing Israeli genocide against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
The meeting also tackled Gaza reconstruction plans, the need to prepare for the upcoming meeting of the Egyptian-Palestinian Joint Committee and the coordination made for the academic year of Gaza students residing in Egypt.
The two sides also discussed the situation of the Palestinian people from the Gaza Strip in Egypt, especially those receiving treatment in hospitals.
Mustafa commenced efforts made by Egypt to end the genocide against Palestinians and provide the necessary facilities to those in Egypt, praising Egypt’s support for the Palestinian cause in all international forums.
For his part, Ambassador Suleiman reiterated Egypt’s support fo
r the Palestinian cause at all levels, noting that his country continues its efforts to stop the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip and to secure the entry of humanitarian aid to the Strip.
He stressed Egypt’s concern over the violations and crimes committed against the Palestinian people by the occupation and colonists in the West Bank, noting that the competent Egyptian authorities will continue their efforts to provide all necessary facilities to the Palestinian citizens there.
