Manama: In line with Bahrain’s national efforts toward carbon neutrality, announced by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and in observance of the National Tree Week, launched by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Mohammed bin Thamer Al Kaabi, Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications, participated in planting trees at the ministry’s headquarters.
According to Bahrain News Agency, this initiative is part of Bahrain’s broader commitment to environmental sustainability and reducing carbon emissions. The National Tree Week activities are aimed at increasing green spaces and enhancing public awareness about the importance of trees in combating climate change. The participation of the Minister highlights the government’s dedication to achieving its climate goals through active involvement in environmental initiatives.
