RAMALLAH: Weather in Palestine today is expected to be partially cloudy to cloudy and very cold as the low-pressure front is expected to continue to affect the country. Temmperature is expected to drop, and rain is expected to fall from time to time, especially in the northern and central regions, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Winds are southwesterly to westerly, active, with strong gusts sometimes reaching speeds of 60 km/h and sea waves are wavy.
In the evening and night hours, the wweather is expected to be very cold and rainy over most areas, sometimes accompanied by thunderstorms.
On Wednesday, the low-pressure front will continue to affect the country, thus the weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy and cold to very cold. Scattered rain is expected to fall from time to time. Chances of rain are slight in the evening and night hours as frost may form over some areas during the late hours of the night.
