AIPS Africa Head Hails Mohammed VI Football Academy as Beacon of African Success


Rabat: AIPS Africa Head Thiam has declared the Mohammed VI Football Academy a significant source of pride for Africa. In a recent press statement, Thiam, who also leads the Senegalese Sports Press Association, underscored the academy’s pivotal role in cultivating Morocco’s footballing elite. He noted that Morocco is currently experiencing the rewards of a meticulously planned, sustainable, and inclusive strategy in football development.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, Thiam praised Morocco’s exceptional training infrastructure, which he claimed rivals or surpasses those found in larger football nations, particularly in Europe. He expressed optimism that other African countries might emulate this successful model. He commended the driving force of His Majesty King Mohammed VI and the significant contributions of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF), stating that the Atlas Cubs’ achievements are not coincidental but the result of a transparent sports policy aimed at enhancing African talent.
