15th Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan GKA Kitesurf World Cup Wraps Up with International Success


Dakhla: The closing ceremony of the 15th Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan GKA Kitesurf World Cup witnessed the gathering of 40 kitesurfers from 14 different countries, celebrating the top athletes and the competitive spirit that defined this year’s edition.



According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, in the men’s category, the championship title was claimed by Italian rider Airton Cozzolino, who outperformed Brazilian competitor Pedro Matos, while another Brazilian, Sebastian Ribeiro, secured the third position.



The women’s category saw France’s Capucine Delannoy triumph over Brazilian Kesiane Rodrigues, with Serena Luz, also from Brazil, taking the third spot on the podium.



Moroccan riders Ali El Bakkali and Khafi Souleimane delivered impressive performances, advancing to the quarterfinals after intense duels with top international champions. Ali El Bakkali narrowly lost to Pedro Matos, while Khafi Souleimane, hailed as the breakout star of this edition, made a remarkable comeback after a long hiatus, narrowly losing to Sebastian Ribeiro.
