Rabat: Morocco secured a 3-1 victory over Costa Rica in a match of the 2025 U17 Women’s World Cup. The match saw Morocco take the lead early with a goal from Mayssa Baha in the 4th minute, followed by a second goal from her in the 39th minute, scored from a penalty.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, Morocco extended their lead with an own goal by Costa Rica’s Fabiana Alfaro in the 77th minute. Costa Rica managed to score in stoppage time through Naima Moya in the 90+5 minute, but it wasn’t enough to change the outcome of the match.
