Rabat: The Moroccan women’s national football team defeated Kenya 4-0 on Sunday evening at the Moulay Hassan Stadium in Rabat in their opening Group A match of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (Women’s AFCON).

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, Morocco’s goals were scored by Soukaina Ouzraoui in the 19th minute, followed by Meryem Atiq in the 29th minute. Ibtissam Jraïdi added to the tally with a brace, scoring in the 32nd and 47th minutes.

The Moroccan team will next take on Algeria on Thursday, July 30, at the Moulay Hassan Stadium for their second Group A fixture.
