The Israeli occupation forces detained this morning at least 38 Palestinians in raids at their homes in the occupied territories, the majority of them from the Bethlehem-area town of Tuqu, according to various sources. Sources in Bethlehem said the army raided Tuqu and rounded up 23 residents ranging in age between 18 and 40 years and some are siblings. In Hebron, also in the south of the West Bank, the soldiers detained three people from Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, and one from Fawwar refugee camp, south of Hebron. In Ramallah, the soldiers detained a mother and her son, and another member of the same family. A fourth was detained in the village of Ajoul. Soldiers also detained three people from the city of Nablus and one from the town of Qabatiya, and three others from Kulf Haris in the north of the West Bank.
