First relief aid shipment dispatched to Gaza

Manama, The National Committee for Supporting the Palestinians in Gaza dispatched the first Bahraini aid shipment to Gaza under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Representative of His Majesty for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs.

The Bahraini aid shipment reflects His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s firm stance on the just Palestinian cause and support for the Palestinian people, HH Shaikh Nasser said.

HH Shaikh Nasser expressed gratitude for the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and HRH’s keenness to fully support the Foundation in various campaigns.

HH emphasised Bahrain’s support for the Palestinian people in Gaza, stressing the kingdom’s commitment to alleviate their suffering during the ongoing war.

Mustafa Al Sayed, Secretary General of RHF, said 40 tonnes of medical, relief, and food supplies have been sent the Palestinian people in Gaza.

The foundation coordinated with the International Red Crescent, Egyptian Red Crescent, and Palestinian Red Crescent.

The National Committee for Supporting the Palestinians in Gaza is focusing on providing more humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza, with numerous shipments and initiatives set to be implemented in the coming days.
