Casablanca: Nigeria secured third place at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON Morocco) after defeating their Egyptian counterparts 4-2 in a penalty shootout (0-0 in regulation time), in the third-place playoff match played on Saturday at the Mohammed V Sports Complex in Casablanca.
According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the AFCON final will see Morocco face Senegal on Sunday at 8:00 p.m. The final will be held at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat.
