Algeria: Activist Bouraoui’s Mother under Judicial Supervision (NGO)

According to the Algerian Committee for the Release of Detainees (CNLD), the activist’s mother, Khadidja Bouraoui (71 years old), arrested in Algiers on February 11, was released and placed under judicial supervision by order of the criminal court of Constantine (east).

The same court issued a detention warrant in this case against a journalist, Mustapha Bendjama, arrested on February 8, and Amira Bouraoui’s cousin, Yacine Bentayeb, added the CNLD.

Amira Bouraoui, forbidden to leave the Algerian territory, joined France through Tunisia, which has caused a diplomatic incident between Algiers and Paris.
