The Education Ministry participated in the first regional forum on “Early Childhood Care in a Turbulent World: Development Strategies in Arab Countries.”

The Arab Network for Early Childhood (ANECD) organized the event which was attended by more than 60 members and representatives from national networks, relevant ministries, Arab and international organizations, as well as academics and researchers specializing in early childhood issues.

Fatheya Ali Aish, Director of the Early Education Licensing and Follow-up Department at the Ministry of Education, participated in the forum, which was hosted by the “Arab Council for Childhood and Development.”

The forum aims to identify strategic directions for supporting and enhancing early childhood development in Arab countries through knowledge-production, networking, collaboration, and advocacy to influence policies.

It also serves as a platform for discussing the current realities, challenges, and ways to develop areas of work in early childhood care. Additionally, it will showcase ANECD’s role alongside its partners in supporting research on Early Childhood and highlight leading programs in this field within the Arab world.
