Manama, Bahrain Polytechnic and Chandigarh University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at creating a strategic partnership to develop cooperation in the scientific and applied research fields and encourage students and academic exchange between the two educational institutions.
The MoU was signed by Professor Ciarán Ó Catháin, the CEO of Bahrain Polytechnic, and Professor Dr. R.S. Paoan, the Pro-Chancellor of Chandigarh University.
Professor O'Quhan emphasised the significance of enhancing cooperation in research for innovation and sustainability, highlighting the MoU as a new addition to Bahrain Polytechnic's academic partnerships with international universities.
This agreement enhances Bahrain Polytechnic's position as a strategic partner for many international universities and institutes in applied and professional engineering education, he added.
Professor Paon said that the MoU would strengthen higher education cooperation between Bahrain and India.
