Bahrain bagged as many as 10 medals, including 7 gold, 1 silver and two bronze ones.

Commenting, Rashid Isa Flaifal, Bahrain Boxing Federation President, praised the distinguished performance of the Bahrain national boxing team.

He attributed the achievements of Bahraini boxers to the support of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport, General Sports Authority Chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee President, as well as the constant follow-up of His Highness Shaikh Salman bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Deputy GSA Chairman, Bahrain Combat Sports Council President, commending their efforts to develop combat sports teams so as to enable them to attain more accomplishments for the kingdom.
