BIPD Executive Director re-appointed for new term

The Board of Trustees of the Bahrain Institute for Political Development (BIPD) has praised its achievements over the past period, which contributed to enhancing the Institute’s role as one of the main partners in the comprehensive development process, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

During its third meeting for this year, chaired by Ali bin Mohammed Al-Romaihi, BIPD’s Board of Trustees re-appointed Eman Faisal Janahi as BIPD Executive Director for a new term.

BIPD Board of Trustees Chairman and members expressed thanks and appreciation to Executive Director Janahi for the constructive efforts she has exerted over the past period, which has reflected positively on BIPD’s march, making it a major political development reference in the kingdom.

The panel said that BIPD is looking forward to achieving more progress by launching programmes and events aimed at consolidating the democratic process in the kingdom, and raising the political awareness of various social groups, in accordance with the royal vision and the national legislation and laws in force.

Eman Janahi expressed her deepest thanks to BIPD Board of Trustees Chairman and members for their trust, pledging to continue efforts aimed at achieving BIPD’s goals, stipulated in the royal decree promulgating its establishment.

She unveiled that BIPD will launch more programmes and events that target various social groups to contribute to supporting the comprehensive development march witnessed by the kingdom, under HM the King’s leadership.

The panel discussed the topics on its agenda, and reviewed its programmes, events and studies in the third quarter of this year, in addition to its work plan for the coming period.
