Burkina Faso’s Foreign Minister Commends Morocco’s Role in African Peace and Development


Rabat: Burkina Faso’s Foreign Minister has expressed profound admiration for the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI and Morocco’s unwavering commitment to fostering peace, stability, and development across Africa. In particular, the Foreign Minister highlighted the country’s significant contributions to promoting peace and development on the African continent and within the Sahel region.



According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the Foreign Minister, Traor©, acknowledged the visionary approach of His Majesty King Mohammed VI in enhancing South-South cooperation and solidarity. This approach positions Morocco as a strategic partner for African nations in tackling challenges related to peace, security, and sustainable development. Traor© emphasized Morocco’s role in supporting regional initiatives and its efforts to consolidate these partnerships.



In addition, Traor© commended the enlightened initiative of His Majesty King Mohammed VI concerning the African Atlantic States process. This initiative aims to strengthen cooperation by creating a pragmatic geostrategic framework for intra-African collaboration within the African Atlantic space. During this audience, the foreign ministers of the Sahel States Alliance lauded the efforts of His Majesty the King to facilitate the Sahel countries’ access to the Atlantic.
