Rabat: The upcoming cabinet meeting is set to take place on Thursday, where the Council will begin its agenda with a presentation on the 2035 National Sustainable Development Strategy. This presentation will be delivered by the Minister of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the Council will then proceed to examine a draft law aimed at amending and supplementing the Commercial Code. Following this, two draft decrees will be considered: one concerning amendments to the decree reorganizing the National Institute of Fine Arts and another implementing Article 7 of the law related to social protection institutions.

The session will continue with the review of the Convention on the Extradition of Criminals between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Kazakhstan. This convention was signed in Rabat on 12 December 2024, and a draft law approving this agreement will also be evaluated.

Finally, the Council will discuss proposals for appointments to senior pos
itions as outlined in Article 92 of the Constitution. After these discussions, the government plans to hold a meeting to review certain draft laws, as noted in the press release.
