The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has fined Morocco and Egypt’s football federations following “altercations” that broke out between the country’s teams after their Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) match on Sunday, CAF said on Tuesday. The confederation’s disciplinary board charged players and officials from the teams with misconduct, stating they brought “the game into disrepute”, according to the governing body of African football.
