"We need more than ever to adopt a reconciliatory, constructive and future-oriented Arab vision, to promote natural Arab-Arab relations, which transcend the complexes o f the past and overcome the political obstacles and bilateral differences hindering recovery and development," Bourita underlined. The Arab world needs to direct its future partnerships with the various regional blocs towards the establishment of a healthy intellectual, cultural and media environment, in order to ensure cohabitation and cooperation between its peoples in order to allow generational integration and the enshrinement of the values ??of tolerance and acceptance of the Other, far from stereotypes and exclusionary approaches, which generate conflicts and dissensions, the minister noted. Bourita also stressed the "urgent need" to develop balanced relations with traditional partners, "on the basis of clear standards and criteria that will guarantee the success and continuity of these partnerships, without undermining the security and sovereignty of our countries and their territorial integrity". The dangers threatening the Arab world and the rapid developments at all levels make the Arab world "a figure in a complex international equation", the minister said, noting that in the absence of an appropriate solution, "we will find ourselves at a crossroads". In this context, the Kingdom hopes that concrete and practical measures will be taken to accelerate the reform of the Arab League, in a climate of consensus so that this organization can fulfill its role as a mechanism aimed at enshrining Arab solidarity and developing joint action and Arab unity, Bourita said, adding that working hand in hand remains the only option for all to achieve this goal.
