Cairo: Morocco’s FM Holds Talks with his Bahraini Peer

On the occasion of his presidency of the Arab League Council at the level of Foreign Ministers, Morocco’s minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates, Nasser Bourita, held, here Tuesday, talks with his Bahraini peer, Abdullatif Bin Rashid Al Zayani.

The talks focused on bilateral relations, with both parties expressing satisfaction at the excellent cooperation and solidarity between Morocco and Bahrain, thanks to the High Solicitude of HM King Mohammed VI and his brother King of Bahrain, HM Hamad Ben Isa Al Khalifa.

Both ministers underlined their shared willingness to further promote these relations and to breathe new life into cooperation between the two sister kingdoms, in line with the aspirations of the Sovereigns of both countries.

Within this framework, the two ministers agreed to continue the implementation of the conclusions of the 5th session of the High Joint Commission, held on January 26 in Manama, and to strengthen political coordination and consultation, in the run-up to upcoming events, notably the 33rd Arab Summit, scheduled for March in Bahrein.

They also discussed a number of regional and international issues of common interest, and expressed the two countries' shared views on them.
