Agadir: Cameroon’s national football team bested Mozambique 2 goals to 1, during Group F’s third and last matchday in the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) Morocco 2025, played Wednesday evening at Agadir’s Grand Stade.
According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, Mozambique opened the scoring with a goal from Geny Catamo in the 23rd minute. Shortly after, Cameroon equalized when Mozambique’s Feliciano Jone scored an own goal in the 28th minute. The Indomitable Lions then gained the lead with a goal by Christian Michel Kofane in the 55th minute.
Both teams have progressed to the round of 16 of the competition.
