Rabat: Speaking at a pre-match press conference, Sektioui stressed that ‘to win a match of this magnitude, one must be well prepared, motivated, and determined, and that’s what we are for this face-off,’ adding that ‘all aspects have been taken into consideration to harvest good results and honor Moroccan football.’

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, Sektioui emphasized that ‘each match has its set of challenges and scenarios. The fixture against Tanzania is crucial, because the result must tip in favor of one team or the other,’ he noted, adding that ‘it is necessary to maintain a balance between all aspects of the game to achieve a positive result, regardless of absences in defense’.

He further affirmed, ‘all praise must go to the players who showed maturity, determination, and motivation to go far in the competition. A lot of work has been accomplished at all levels and by everyone involved.’

National team player Saifeddine Bouhra, for his part, said that ‘the match will be played against a team that shows good form,’ emphasizing that ‘the national players have prepared seriously and selflessly for this decisive match, and we all hope for fitting results.’

Morocco will face Tanzania in the CHAN quarterfinals on Friday at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar Es Salaam (6:00 p.m. GMT+1).
