According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the match saw Morocco take control in first-half stoppage time when Mohamed Hrimat broke the deadlock, giving his team a crucial lead. Oussama Lamlioui extended Morocco’s advantage with a goal in the 67th minute. Zambia, eager to fight back, managed to score through Andrew Phiri just three minutes later, narrowing the gap to 2-1. However, Morocco’s Sabir Bougrine ensured a comfortable win by scoring deep into added time at 90+5 minutes, solidifying the 3-1 victory.

This win propels Morocco to six points in the Group A standings, positioning them strongly as they advance in the tournament. Meanwhile, in the day’s other Group A fixture, Angola is set to face DR Congo later in the evening, while Kenya will not par
