Colonists attacked on Friday Palestinian farmland in the village of Jaba, south of Jenin, cutting down olive trees and tearing down an agricultural room there, according to a local official.
Head of Jaba village council, Abbas Ghanem, told WAFA that several colonists attacked the village’s farmland located near the Homesh colony, built illegally on citizens’ land south of Jenin, cutting down dozens of olive trees and demolishing an agricultural room.
Since the Israeli occupation government’s decision last year to allow the return of colonists to the Homesh colony which was evacuated in 2005, the colony has served as a launching pad for colonists’ attacks against Palestinians, their land, homes and properties.
