Colonists attack Palestinian properties near Hebron

HEBRON: A group of Israeli colonists Thursday attacked Palestinians citizens' property, a water pipeline, and the roofs of caves in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron. Local sources reported to WAFA that colonists grazed their livestock on citizens' crops in the area, cut water pipes, and vandalized water tanks and the roofs of caves. The colonists aim, through these attacks, to displace citizens from their lands in favor of colonial expansion in this area. According to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, colonists carried out 206 acts of vandalism and theft of citizens' property during August, which affected vast areas of land, and stole 509 heads of sheep, seized nine vehicles, tractors, and others, and uprooted 477 trees, including 397 olive trees in the governorates of Hebron, Salfit, Bethlehem, Nablus, and Ramallah.
