Colonists set fire to Palestinian vehicle, greenhouse, near Jenin

JENIN: Israeli colonists Sunday burned a Palestinian-owned vehicle and an agricultural greenhouse in the village of Jalboun, northeast of Jenin, under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces. Security and local sources told WAFA that the occupation forces stormed the village of Jalboun and set up a military checkpoint at its entrance, obstructed the movement of citizens, and raided several neighborhoods. The head of the Jalboun Village Council, Ibrahim Abu Al-Rub, told WAFA that the occupation forces opened fire directly at citizens' homes, from inside the illegal Merav colony, which is located on the village's lands. He added that colonists gathered near the separation and expansion wall, and burned a vehicle owned by local resident Nimr Nafi Abu Al-Rub, and an agricultural greenhouse owned by Hassan Fayez Abu Al-Rub. The occupation forces also intensified their military measures in the vicinity of villages and towns northeast of Jenin. Meanwhile, confrontations broke out between young men and t he occupation forces near the 'Dotan' colony checkpoint erected on the lands of the town of Ya'bad, where the occupation soldiers closed the military checkpoint linking Jenin to Tulkarm and the town of Ya'bad and its villages, while other confrontations broke out in the vicinity of Salem Camp, west of Jenin.
