Rabat: The Digital Development Agency held its 7th Administration Board Meeting at the Ministry of Digital Transition and Administration Reform, marking a pivotal step in strengthening the Agency’s strategic role in alignment with the vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI.
According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the meeting is part of the ongoing implementation of the national ‘Digital Morocco 2030’ strategy. This strategy aims to position the Kingdom as a leading regional digital hub with strong innovation capabilities and to foster a sustainable and inclusive digital ecosystem. This initiative is expected to support the competitiveness of the national economy and enhance the quality of public services.
During the meeting, Amine El Mezouaghi, Director General of the Digital Development Agency, highlighted the Agency’s objectives in alignment with the Kingdom’s major national priorities. These include supporting the digitalization of key public services, promoting innovation and the digital economy, facil
itating the adoption of digital tools for users, reducing the digital divide, and ensuring exemplary performance and governance within the Agency.
The Board approved a new roadmap, along with a related action plan and budget proposal. It also endorsed the Agency’s reorganization project and the revision of its human resources statute. These decisions reflect the commitment of the Digital Development Agency, under the supervision of the Ministry of Digital Transition and Administration Reform, to support an inclusive and sustainable digital transformation for the Kingdom.
