Manama, Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, the Minister of Education and Chairman of the Higher Education Council, inaugurated the universities fair, hosted by the Alumni Club.
The event hosted 17 local higher education institutions, along with representatives from international universities.
Dr. Juma highlighted the Higher Education Council’s commitment to supporting such initiatives, which offer students a wide range of study opportunities both in Bahrain and abroad. He emphasised that these fairs provide students and visitors with valuable insights into academic programmes, helping them make informed decisions about their future studies. He also praised the Alumni Club for its role in organising the event.
Abdullatif Ahmed Al Zayani, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Alumni Club, said that the fair is part of the club’s efforts to strengthen ties between students and educational institutions, aiming to guide students towards successful academic and professional careers.
The fair will be held until
October 23, and it includes workshops and advisory sessions to help students choose their academic paths. Some universities are also offering scholarships to support students in achieving their educational ambitions.
