Rabat: Upon High Instructions of His Majesty the King, Supreme Commander and Chief of the General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Mohammed Berrid, FAR Inspector General and Commander of the South Zone, received Bryan J. Ellis, Deputy Assistant Secretary of War of the United States of America for African Affairs, at the FAR General Staff headquarters. Ellis is visiting the Kingdom of Morocco on January 11-13, accompanied by a high-level official delegation.
According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the FAR Inspector General and the US Deputy Assistant Secretary of War for African Affairs primarily focused on military cooperation topics and areas. These discussions are set to be further examined at the upcoming meeting of the Defense Consultative Committee, scheduled for 2026 in Washington, DC.
