Manama, Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, attended the CFA graduation ceremony 2024.
He affirmed Bahrain’s commitment, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, to strengthening investment in key sectors, especially financial services, which significantly contributes to the Kingdom’s GDP.
The minister said the importance of investing in national talent is central to the government’s efforts, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to create more opportunities, particularly in financial and economic fields, to support Bahrain’s economic development.
He stressed Bahrain’s focus on enhancing the financial services sector through digital infrastructure and fintech innovation, which opens new opportunities for growth. The minister also commended the role of specialised financial institutions in developing local expertise and ensuring Bahrain remains a leading financial hub.

y was attended by Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al Asfoor, Minister of Social Development, Khalid Ibrahim Humaidan, Governor of the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB), and Shaikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, CEO of Mumtalakat.
Shaikh Salman congratulated the graduates, wishing them success in their careers.
He praised the Bahrain Investment Professionals Society for its role in equipping financial analysts with the necessary skills to meet market demands, highlighting their efforts to advance financial analysis and market reporting, thus contributing to the growth of Bahrain’s financial sector.
Khalid Humaidan also lauded the Society’s efforts in expanding the number of CFA holders, which enhances Bahrain’s investment standards.
Hala Ali Yateem, Chairwoman of National Bank of Bahrain, expressed pride in supporting such initiatives, emphasising the importance of human capital development in the financial sector.
Zeeba Majeed Askar, President of the Bahrain Investment Professionals Society, expressed gratitude to
the Minister and partners, affirming the Society’s commitment to advancing the CFA programme in line with global standards.
