Following 20 days of Israeli siege, two civilians killed by occupation snipers in Nasser Medical Complex

GAZA: Two civilians toady were killed by Israeli occupation sniper bullets in the vicinity of the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip. Medical sources reported that the complex has been under Israeli military siege for 20th day. At least two civilians were killed after they were targeted by occupation snipers, who are targeting anything that moved in front of the complex, one in front of the main gate, and the other in the reception and emergency department. Medical sources reported that medical teams were unable to move between the complex's buildings due to the constant shooting by occupation snipers, putting at risk the lives of 300 health personnel, 450 patients and wounded, and around 10,000 displaced people inside the Nasser Medical Complex. Late in the night, the occupation artillery launched violent airstrikes and gunfire at the upper floors of the Nasser Medical Complex, and renewed its bombardment on the southern areas of the city of Khan Yunis. Occupation army snipe rs also occupied the rooftops of several homes surrounding the complex, intensively shooting in its courtyards. The sources added that Nasser Medical Complex has been suffering from a severe shortage of food and drink due to the ongoing Israeli shelling and sieging of the complex. Earlier this morning, the occupation vehicles and tanks arrived at the northern gate of the Nasser Medical Complex, where they were stationed at the entrance to the Jordanian hospital located next to the complex. Late in the night, the occupation artillery launched violent airstrikes and gunfire at the upper floors of the Nasser Medical Complex, and renewed its bombardment on the southern areas of the city of Khan Yunis. The occupation army has been carrying out a series of airstrikes and artillery shelling on Khan Yunis and in the vicinity of the hospitals, amid ground offensive by occupation tanks in the southern and western areas of the city, which prompted thousands of Palestinians to flee. 14 hospitals out of 36 in Gaza are partially operating, including nine hospitals in the south and six others in the north, according to medical sources. In a preliminary toll, the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip since October 7 has resulted in more than 27,947 confirmed fatalities. Additionally, over 67,300 people have been injured.
