Cairo – Marrakech will host the CAF Awards ceremony on December 16, 2024, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced on Thursday.
For the second year in a row, the Moroccan city will host this renowned event, CAF said in a press release, recalling that last year’s edition was attended by several celebrities and achieved great success.
During last year’s edition, Nigeria’s Victor Osimhen was awarded the men’s ‘African Player of the Year’ award, while his countrywoman Asisat Oshoala was the winner in the women’s category.
The CAF Awards celebrate the outstanding performances of African football players, both at club and national team levels, culminating in the presentation of the prestigious ‘African Player of the Year’ awards for men and women.
