Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, Foreign Affairs Minister, met here today Frederick Davie, Vice Chair of the US Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF).
During the meeting, the two sides discussed areas of cooperation between the Foreign Affairs Ministry and USCIRF in promoting religious freedom globally, as well as availing of the two countries’ capabilities in spreading the values and principles advocated by religions and beliefs, in addition to promoting tolerance and human coexistence for the good and benefit of humanity.
They also discussed opportunities to enhance bilateral cooperation in the field of religious freedoms to contribute to rejecting sectarianism, intolerance and hatred, as well as deepening the values of love and brotherhood among peoples.
