Foreign Ministry slams Israel’s crimes in Jenin

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates strongly condemned the recent Israeli aggression on the city of Jenin and its camp, which led to the killing of three Palestinians, and restricted the movement of unarmed civilians and their ability to reach their work, schools, universities and health centers. The Ministry said in a statement that Israelis receiving of Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs Barbara Leff, is considered a dangerous escalation in the arena of conflict and an official Israeli appeal to the spiral of violence. The statement concluded that the ministry, as it follows up the crimes of the occupation at the international and international levels, and with international courts, including the International Criminal Court, calls for a firm international and American stance that rises to the level of what Palestinian people are exposed to in terms of settler violence, crimes of persecution, repression and abuse, and taking the necessary measures in order to force the occupying state to stop unilateral measures and to fulfill its obligations as an occupying power, and to abide by the signed agreements and understandings.
