Sidi hajjaj oued hassar commune (province of mediouna): The regional facility for the hosting and psychosocial rehabilitation of people with mental and psychological disorders, which construction was launched on Wednesday by His Majesty King Mohammed VI in the commune of Sidi Hajjaj Oued Hassar (Mediouna Province), will combine social protection, medical and psychological support based on new therapeutic approaches, and skills development, director of communications at the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity Sanae Dardikh said.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, supported by the Foundation, this facility is shaping up to be a model complex for the care of people suffering from mental disorders, she told the press. This future psychosocial facility will be based on a new care model with a coordinated set of support mechanisms, Dardikh emphasized.

Given the investment involved (MAD 300 million) and its various aspects, this unique and multidimensional solidarity project is intended for populations in situations of psychological and social vulnerability, she noted. She further pointed out that this project aims to create a safe accommodation and care environment, enabling each beneficiary to follow a tailored pathway to better social and professional reintegration.
