Berlin: Titled “Morocco’s masterstroke at the WC: The Three Strikers that Cornered the Adversary”, the German outlet points out that it’s becoming usual to see Morocco play for big titles. Kicker.de, considered a benchmark in German sports journalism, notes that “Morocco has once again left a strong impression,” after clinching the World Cup title, highlighting the trio’s tactical brilliance and cohesive play.

According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, in an article titled “Morocco’s Masterstroke at the World Cup: The Three Strikers Who Cornered the Adversary,” the German outlet points out that it is becoming increasingly common to see Morocco contending for major titles.

At the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, it writes, Moroccans have reached the semi-finals, before winning the bronze medal in the Paris Olympics two years later. Forward players did amaze as “proficient talents in Spain, France nor Argentina couldn’t face.”

Othmane Maamma was named the best player of the tournament for his creativity, technical skill, and strength on the field. Yassir Zabiri, the hero of the final against Argentina, is a striker with nerves of steel, as evidenced by the Panenka he successfully executed during the penalty shootout in the semifinal against France.

Yassine Gessime, quick, clever, daring, and efficient, is now on the radar of several European clubs, including some from the Bundesliga, which have reportedly already expressed interest in the Moroccan prodigy, kicker.de notes.
