Rabat: Rider Ghali Boukaa won the Grand Prix HM King Mohammed VI, after claiming victory in the Royal Guard’s official 3* show jumping competition, held on Sunday in Rabat under the High Patronage of HM King Mohammed VI, Supreme Commander and Chief of the General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces. Riding “A Kyss”, Boukaa (Etrier de Casablanca), clinched the win in a decisive jump-off with a flawless round completed in 44 secs 75/100, ahead of Lieutenant Yassine Laklach of the Royal Guard, who rode “Derek D’Altenbach” and finished penalty-free in 51.41 seconds.
According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the winner was awarded the prize by the President of the Royal Moroccan Federation of Equestrian Sports (FRMSE), Moulay Abdellah Alaoui. Held from June 20 to 22, the event brought together the finest riders from national equestrian clubs of the FRMSE.
