Gold prices settled below their highest level in a week, with little change in spot transactions.

Traders are anticipating US jobs data, which may drive the expected interest rate cut this month.

Gold rose 0.5% during the week and 22% since the beginning of the year, while other precious metals saw a 0.2% drop.
