Government Council to Convene on Thursday to Discuss Key Draft Decrees and Agreements


Rabat: The Government Council is set to convene on Thursday, initially focusing on three draft decrees. The first of these decrees pertains to equipment for spraying plant protection products. In addition, the Council will amend and supplement the existing decree concerning the organization and operating procedures of the environmental police. The third decree aims to reorganize the Interministerial Delegation for Human Rights and will outline the delegation’s powers.



According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the Council will also evaluate the military cooperation agreement between the governments of Morocco and the Republic of Cameroon, which was signed in Rabat on March 18, 2025. This evaluation will include a discussion on the draft law that seeks to approve the agreement.



The Council’s session will conclude with a review of proposals for senior positions, which will be conducted in accordance with Article 92 of the Constitution.
