Cairo: Head of Government Aziz Akhannouch arrived in Cairo on Sunday at the head of a ministerial delegation to co-chair, on Monday with his Egyptian peer, the first session of the Morocco-Egypt Coordination and Follow-up Committee. Upon his arrival, Akhannouch was welcomed by Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly and Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Mohamed Farid Saleh.
According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, Akhannouch heads a delegation that includes Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccan Expatriates Nasser Bourita; Minister of Economy and Finance Nadia Fettah; Minister of Equipment and Water Nizar Baraka, and Minister of Agriculture, Marine Fisheries, Rural Development, Water, and Forests Ahmed Bouari.
The delegation also includes Minister of Industry and Trade Ryad Mezzour; Minister of Youth, Culture, and Communication Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid; Deputy Minister in charge of Investment, Convergence, and Public Policy Evaluation Karim Zidane; and the Kingdom’s Ambassador to Egypt Mohamed At Ouali.
The Morocco-Egypt Coordination and Follow-up Committee’s meeting is part of efforts to bolster bilateral relations and explore opportunities for cooperation between the two countries in various fields.
