Heatwave Warning Issued for Multiple Moroccan Provinces


Rabat: A heatwave is expected from Friday to Sunday in several provinces of the Kingdom, according to the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM).



According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, hot weather with temperatures ranging from 39 to 42°C will impact the provinces of Taza, Berkane, Oujda-Angad, Fez, Moulay Yacoub, and Taounate on Saturday and Sunday, as stated in an orange-level weather alert bulletin issued by the DGM.



Additionally, the heatwave will bring temperatures between 40 and 45°C from Friday to Sunday in the provinces of Errachidia, Jerada, Taourirt, Figuig, Zagora, Tata, Boujdour, Oued Ed-Dahab, Aousserd, Guercif, and Boulemane, according to the same source.
