Rabat: Heavy rain, sometimes stormy, and snowfall above 2,000 meters are expected on Tuesday in several provinces of the Kingdom, according to the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM).
According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, heavy rain, sometimes stormy, ranging between 50 and 70 mm, will affect the provinces of Tangier-Assilah, Fahs-Anjra, Larache, Kenitra, Sidi Kacem, Tetouan, Chefchaouen, Ouezzane, Taounate, Taza, and Al Hoceima from 11:30 a.m to 11 p.m. This alert falls under the orange level of vigilance.
The same phenomenon (25 to 35 mm) will also affect the provinces of Rabat, Sal©, Skhirate-Temara, Khemisset, Ifrane, Kh©nifra, Sidi Slimane, Fez, Meknes, and Moulay Yacoub from 1 p.m to 11 p.m, according to the same source.
Additionally, snowfall of 10 to 30 cm above 2,000 meters is expected on Tuesday from 1 p.m to midnight in the provinces of Azilal, Al Haouz, Midelt, Ifrane, Tinghir, and Boulemane, the DGM noted.
