Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today at Sakhir Palace. Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of the Royal Court, and General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, were present.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting focused on advancing Bahrain’s development and sustaining progress for the benefit of the Kingdom’s citizens. His Majesty emphasized Bahrain’s dedication to environmental security and praised the government’s efforts, led by HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in implementing national plans aimed at enhancing environmental security and ensuring resource sustainability. These plans include the recently launched National Tree Week, which has seen widespread participation from official, community, and public sectors.
His Majesty King Hamad also acknowledged the ongoing achievements of Bahraini nationals across various fields, highlighting
their role in elevating the Kingdom’s international standing. He praised Bahrain’s success in hosting major conferences and international sports tournaments, underscoring the country’s growing reputation on the global stage.
In discussing developments in the Middle East, His Majesty stressed the importance of de-escalation and restoring stability in the region. He called for a comprehensive, fair, and lasting peace based on a two-state solution, which would ensure security and stability for all. His Majesty reiterated Bahrain’s commitment to supporting diplomatic efforts to resolve global conflicts through dialogue, contributing to international peace and security.
