Rabat: His Majesty King Mohammed VI offered a luncheon on Monday in Rabat to honor Senegalese Prime Minister Ousmane Sonko and his accompanying delegation. The event was chaired by Head of Government Aziz Akhannouch.
According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, the luncheon was graced by several notable figures, including Minister of African Integration, Foreign Affairs and Senegalese Abroad Cheikh Niang, and Ambassador of the Republic of Senegal to Morocco Seynabou Dial. Members of Sonko’s delegation were also present.
Other distinguished attendees included Speaker of Morocco’s House of Representatives Rachid Talbi El Alami, Speaker of the House of Councillors Mohamed Ould Errachid, Advisor to His Majesty the King Omar Kabbaj, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates Nasser Bourita, and Ambassador of Morocco to Senegal Hassan Naciri.
Earlier that day, Aziz Akhannouch and Ousmane Sonko co-chaired the 15th Morocco-Senegal High Joint Partnership Commission in Rabat. The session resulted in the adoption of a Joint Communiqu© and the signing of several cooperation and partnership agreements, memoranda of understanding, and agreement protocols.
