Brussels: In the Euro-Mediterranean area as well as on the African continent, in the United Nations system as well as before the most demanding international bodies, Morocco’s lucid, serene and responsible leadership is now a benchmark, HM the King’s Advisor André Azoulay stated on Friday evening in Brussels.
According to Agence Marocaine De Presse, Azoulay stressed the significance of the venue, Brussels, as a European capital and a world city that embraces all cultures, with a notable presence of the Moroccan community, comprising hundreds of thousands of compatriots. Speaking before an audience of over 300 figures gathered in the “Cercle Gaulois” ceremonial hall, an emblematic venue for major diplomatic meetings in Brussels, Azoulay emphasized Morocco’s vibrant diplomatic, economic, cultural, and social momentum.
Azoulay highlighted Morocco’s unique ability to resist divisive tendencies and promote a consensus that thrives on its diverse culture. He credited the visionary leadership of HM King Mohammed V
I for reinforcing this reality, urging the global community to consider Morocco’s approach as a model for addressing current global challenges of coexistence.
He further described Morocco as a boundless and resilient source of new ideas for societal transformation, emphasizing the country’s progress and innovation through a blend of tradition and modernity. Azoulay expressed his gratitude to Moroccan Ambassador to Belgium and Luxembourg Mohamed Ameur for organizing the evening, in collaboration with Baron Francis Delpérée, President of the Association ‘Les Amis du Maroc.’
